Size and Fit
On June 15, 1921, Bessie Coleman earned her pilot license from Federation Aeronautique Internationale. She was the first African American woman and first Native American to hold a pilot license. We screenprinted her image, including her iconic message (“I refused to take no for an answer”) on a Made in NYC dolman sleeve boatneck tee, in luxurious Japanese cotton jersey.
We aspire to the MVP in your wardrobe, and we hope we inspire you to be the MVP of your story. This Made in NYC Rebels & Revolutionaries activistwear capsule honors the MVPs of the movement – the mavericks and forerunners, the advocates for progress.
